No Man's Sky now has an experimental performance enhancing patch

No Man's Sky now has an opt-in experimental performance enhancing patch, which is said fix a lot of the many issues that are currently present within the game.

This patch has not passed internal testing and is therefore not ready for the public version of the game, though gamers who wish to test out this new patch can access it by applying the patch manually in the "beta" section of the games properties menu on Steam.

This new patch uses an improved shader caching system, taking away a lot of the stuttering that plagues the current version of the game and is said to improve the games CPU performance for those using systems with 4 CPU threads or fewer.

At this time we do not know when Hello Games plans on adding these new changes officially to the game, though they are expected to be released within the next few days.
