Nvidia officially reveals their RTX 4070 Ti, and it will be available on January 5th
Nvidia have revealed their RTX 4070 Ti, boasting RTX 3090 Ti beating performance for $799
Nvidia has just revealed their RTX 4070 Ti graphics card, bringing the benefits of their Ada graphics architecture to a lower price point and a broader selection of gamers. With an MSRP of $799 and performance levels that a “faster than RTX 3090 Ti”, Nvidia promises to offer gamers more value and more performance than what they delivered last generation Ampere offerings. Based on the reveal image below, Nvidia’s RTX 4070 Ti will have an AIB-only launch, which means that gamers should not expect to see an RTX 4070 Ti Founders Edition model.
Nvidia’s RTX 4070 Ti graphics card offers users 40 TFLOPS of shader performance, 12GB of GDDR6X memory, and support for DLSS 3 (DLSS Frame Generation). On top of that, Nvidia’s RTX 4070 Ti also features the same encoding/decoding capabilities as their RTX 4080 and RTX 4090, making this graphics card ideal for creators and streamers alike.
DLSS 3 does a lot of heavy lifting
Below, Nvidia has claimed that their RTX 4070 Ti can deliver a 1.3-3.0 performance gain over their RTX 3090 Ti, a performance claim where Nvidia’s DLSS 3.0 technology does a lot of heavy lifting. All of the games listed below support Nvidia’s DLSS 3.0 technology, a technology that effectively acts as an AI framerate doubler. Without DLSS 3.0, Nvidia’s RTX 4070 Ti may not be faster than their RTX 3090 Ti in all games.
Nvidia’s RTX 4070 Ti will become available at retailers on January 5th, which means that this GPU will move from reveal to release within the span of just two days.
