With the GTX 10-series of Pascal GPUs Nvidia wants to redefine what a mobile GPU can do, offering the GTX 1060, 1070 and 1080 for use in mobile devices and bringing performance parity between the desktop and mobile GTX lineup.  

With the power efficiency improvements with Pascal Nvidia has been able to deliver some amazing performance gains over their existing GTX-900 series of mobile products while also enabling gaming laptops to offer increased battery life and even offer overclocking support.  

  

Nvidia releases their GTX 10-series of mobile GPUs  

The GTX-10 series of GPUs are all currently VR ready, meaning that all laptops using Nvidia 10-series GPUs will be compatible with VR headsets like the Oculus Rift and the HTC Vive. 

Nvidia hopes that the Gaming Notebook market will be able to allow them to expand their reach by taking advantage of one of the fastest growing gaming platforms.

In effect Nvidia's GTX 10-series of laptop GPUs bring performance parity between the mobile and desktop GPU markets, delivering mobile gamers with the ability to play even the most modern games with ease.
