Nvidia releases their Titan Xp Collector's Edition - Jedi or Empire themed GPUs

Nvidia has officially revealed that Titan Xp Collectors Edition GPUs, which will release in two different Star Wars Themed variants with both Galactic Empire and Jedi Order themed variants.

These GPUs will offer the same specifications as Nvidia's Titan Xp GPUs but offer a unique cooling solution with Red or Green LED illumination and a custom logo that represents the user's chosen Star Wars affiliation. Sadly these GPUs will not offer RGB illumination, which means that Jedi will have to stick with Green lighting, so no Purple Mace Windu themed builds then...

Both of these GPUs will be available starting tomorrow (November 8th) at 6 AM PST, with each GPU costing $1200 each, with Nvidia limiting GPU sales to one per customer.

Both of these GPUs are officially Star Wars Licensed products and will come with themed packaging, offering a die-cast aluminium body that offers an almost lightsaber-like aesthetic. The bodies of both the Jedi and Empire variants will also be different, giving each GPU its own unique look and feel.

On the underside (PCIe-side), of the GPU there will be a unique Titan X logo, which is an odd location given the fact that it will go unseen in pretty much all enthusiast PC builds. Nvidia's backplate has also been redesigned to showcase a Star Wars Logo.

These GPUs will offer the same performance as standard Titan Xp GPUs, with no variation in GPU specifications. Only the GPU cooling solution has been changed.

Looks awesome, Still wouldn't buy one though, I'd buy a standard Xp and put a block on it

Would look great in a Star Wars themed rig though.Quote

So it's pretty much what we thought it was going to be: a fancy cooler with highly overclocked memory. Looks awesome. I would totally lap this up if I had the moola. I can imagine all the Star Wars themed builds now.Quote

This explains a lot. Too bad about the color selection though. At that price point, there's no excuse to NOT be RGB. I could understand if the "official" good guy colors were green and bad guy colors were red, but that's not the case. Oh well, not hating on it since I won't be buying one. I'm happy with my TIs for now, and for the foreseeable future.Quote

Definitely didn't see this one coming. Looks really good though! I'd definitely get one if I had the money, if only for that gorgeous packagingQuote
