Nvidia's HB SLI bridge is now available on the Nvidia storefront

Nvidia's HB SLI bridge is now available on the Nvidia storefront, with 2-slot, 3-slot and 4-slot gaps. These new High-Bandwidth (HB) SLI Bridges offer gamers greater stability and more consistent frametimes in Nvidia Surround setups, at 4K+ resolutions, and 120Hz+ framerates than traditional SLI bridges.

These new SLI bridges will only work on Nvidia 10-series GPUs, offering double the transfer bandwidth of older generation SLI bridges.

All versions of this new SLI bridge will cost the same amount, £32.99 in the UK and $39.99 in the US. Right now orders from Nvidia are limited to one per customer. Stock is currently depleted in the US but more shipments are expected over the coming days and weeks.

NVIDIA’s new SLI HB bridge doubles the available transfer bandwidth compared to the NVIDIA Maxwell™ architecture. Delivering silky-smooth gameplay, it’s the best way to experience surround gaming—and it’s only compatible with the GeForce GTX 1080.

When someone finally has access to one of these and can open it up I'd love to see the boards, I'm still not convinced this isn't just two normal bridges in one connector.Quote
