Nvidia officially reveals their Geforce Beyond Special Broadcast - Will Next-gen GPUs be announced?
It's official, Nvidia will be hosting a "Special Broadcast" on September 20th under the "Geforce Beyond" name, where Nvidia's CEO, Jensen Huang, plans to reveal the company's " latest breakthroughs in gaming, creating, and graphics technology."
Let's be clear here, Nvidia has officially primed gamers for their upcoming RTX 40 series announcement. We fully expect Nvidia to reveal their long-rumoured Lovelace architecture at this event, an architecture that will push "Geforce Beyond" their RTX 30 series of Ampere-based graphics cards.
Placing their product reveal in September allows Nvidia to pre-empt AMD's official Radeon RDNA 3 GPU reveal. This will allowing Nvidia to do their usual thing and only compare their upcoming products to their existing RTX 30 series graphics cards, giving AMD none of their spotlight while giving watchers no reason to consider other brands.
Rumour has it that Nvidia plans to reveal their RTX 4090 and RTX 4080 series products at this Geforce Beyond event. That said, some sources have claimed that Nvidia will also be revealing their RTX 4070.
Nvidia's Geforce Beyond broadcast will start at 8am PT on September 20th. In UK time that translates to 4PM BST and in Europe that translated to 5pm CEST. The stream will be broadcast on Twitch and YouTube.
