Nvidia Witcher 3 Ready Driver Released

My Thoughts

Nvidia are almost always the first to release a new driver for any AAA PC release, with AMD's newest full driver release still being the 14.12 Catalyst Omega Driver, which was released in 2014.

Being an Nvidia Branded game which features Nvidia Technologies it is no doubt that Nvidia will be the GPU make of choice, offering superior performance in this graphically demanding title.

Nvidia's HairWork's technology takes this game from a great looking game and is able to take it much further, the Witcher 3 has the most Beautiful hair in gaming an it is shown everywhere in the game, on both humans, wildlife and monsters alike.

The Witcher 3 is clearly meant to be played with HairWorks, but right now AMD users will have to suffer a large performance penalty because of it.

CDPR are also releasing a day 1 patch to improve graphics, Looks like they may have admitted to the famous "Downgrade"

Can't find an English version but for those of us who speak German, GameStar are one of the first to report this -

Lately I'm becoming a bit wary if a new driver (said as ready for a specific game or not) would break some of my games...Quote

Sorry but I don't see how nvidia could be the GPU of choice for any PC gamer.

Once they change their ethics, maybe.Quote

Probably because they have everything needed for a gamer in their software, Frame counter, 1-Click optimizations, Recording that is actually stable and has some proper quality options, Drivers that are released for every major game.

And 1 that is actually key, they interact A LOT more with the community than AMD do, That alone can sway a lot of peoples minds.Quote
