Paradox is allowing modders to create official game DLC content for Cities Skylines, allowing modders to potentially earn money from their creations.

The first of these Cities Skylines "Content Creators Packs" will come from Matt "Shroomblaze" Crux, a popular modder who has spent over 3,400 hours in Cities Skylines. His content pack will be the "Art Deco" pack  which will add a selection of Art Deco-inspired buildings to the game for the price of $4.99.

Paradox will be sharing revenue from the DLC's sales with Crux and has already provided the modder in addition to an initial payment which was paid to the modder to cover production costs.
