Paragon's Early Access is currently available for those who purchase the $20 (£15) Founders Pack, making this new and graphically impressive MOBA available to the public for the first time.

Being one of the most visually impressive games to be revealed recently and one of Epic's Flagship titles for their Unreal Engine 4, we simply has to get in there and have a look at how this new game treats our hardware.

To start off we will say that right now the games options menu is rather basic, though this is what you can typically expect from almost any early access game. Hopefully Epic will give PC gamers wider options in time, as we would love to see more detailed Anti-Aliasing options in the game.

So far we have played 6 or 7 games of Paragon at Max settings at 1440p, though sadly the game would not let us turn the game up to 4K with out R9 Fury X. At 1440p max settings we were able to achieve framerates that were typically around 45-65FPS, which is great performance for a game that looks this good so early on in development.

All of the screenshots below were taken at 1440p max settings. You will be able to see these images in their full size/ resolution be simply clicking on them.

So far we have had great fun playing the game, but being an early access product the game is far from finished, so I would not advise that any player buy the game unless they really want to get into this game at this early stage in it's development.

Right now we do not know if this game will support the Microsoft DirectX 12 API on Windows 10, but even without it Paragon is able to deliver some spectacular visuals on PC.

PC gamers will require a minimum of a GTX 460 or an HD 6870, making this game fairly easy to run by today's standards, though this game is expected to be very demanding in the high end, given how this game is intended to market Epic's Unreal Engine 4 as the most beautiful Engine available.

Recommended spec:

  • Nvidia GTX 660 or AMD Radeon HD 7870 equivalent DX11 GPU
  • 2 GByte VRAM
  • Core i5 2.8 Ghz
  • 8 GByte RAM
  • Windows 7/8/10 64-bit

Minimum spec:

  • Nvidia GeForce GTX 460 or AMD Radeon HD 6870 equivalent DX11 GPU
  • 1 GByte VRAM
  • Core i5 2.5 Ghz
  • 4 GByte RAM
  • Windows 7/8/10 64-bit

The game will be entering open beta in summer 2016, but right now there is a paid early access version that is currently available.
