Pascal rumored to launch at Computex 2016 and enter mass shipment in July

Nvidia's Pascal GPUs are rumored to launch at Computex 2016, 31st May - 4th June, and enter mass shipment in July. At Computex it is expected that we will see Pascal GPUs from ASUS, MSI, Gigabyte and other manufacturers.

Below is a statement from Digitimes, in the same article they also state that Nvidia will be launching their GTX 1080 and 1070 GPUs.

The graphics card players will begin mass shipping their Pascal graphics cards in July and they expect the new-generation graphics card to increase their shipments and profits in the third quarter, the sources noted.

The next generation of GPUs is likely the most highly anticipated that we have ever seen in recent years, with both AMD and Nvidia combining both huge leaps in GPU architecture and a move to a new processing node, promising a much greater performance per watt and hopefully give consumers more value for money.

There's no need to be smart.

If it ends up being how it is now with these new cards.. it ends up being consumers who heed to open there eyes rather than leave it up to AMD. Most people just completely ignore them because they are introduced to Nvidia from the start or people still say they have bad drivers when you look at it and see Nvidia has had far more problems in the past months than AMD.

But yes, AMD need to wow just enough to get some attention, if they release first(drivers at launch too) then it should help them out in the beginning. They just need to overshadow Nvidia from a press release standpoint and make it all about them rather than letting Nvidia get the attention. They gotta play dirty if they want to stay in business..Quote
