With just a few days before the launch of the GTX 960, more and more pictures of (non-reference) 960s are appearing all over the web. Since the G1 Gaming Series GPU's are amongst the most popular ones at the moment, Gigabyte would be crazy to not make a GTX 960-version, and they will make, it appears, since pictures of the GTX 960 G1 Gaming have been published online.

The picture of the GPU, courtesy of VideoCardz, show that the GTX 960 G1 Gaming will have the same 3-fan design like its bigger siblings, the GTX 970 and GTX 980 G1 Gaming. It will feature a total of six(!) display outputs, with 3x DisplayPort, and HDMI port and 2x DVI ports, just like the other GTX 900 Series G1 Gaming cards. If you look at the SLI-finger, you can see it only has one, which is one difference from the G1 Gaming cards.

Are you excited about the GTX 960?

A surprisingly long card considering it's mid-range placing. I'd not expected to see a three fan cooler fitted to these - I wonder how much impact that'll have on temps, noise and potential overclocks?

Yeah, that is a very very big card for a mid-range GPU...

Wonder if anyone's going to do a 170mm version again like they did with the 670/760/970.Quote

This one seems short, and I'm sure the reference cards (I think this one is reference design actually) will be short too

As for this card, I think it looks ace. I bet the Windforce cooler will have positive results on performance and overclocking-potential as well!Quote

hrm, why does it look like it has three hdmi ports and one display port if it is a mid range card?Quote
