Point of View has been officially declared bankrupt

Point of View, a Nvidia AIB partner, has been officially declared bankrupt by a Dutch court in Oost-Brabant. The company first started shipping GPUs back in 2000, with the company becoming very popular when the Nvidia 8000 series of GPUs launched, now the company is a shadow of its former self and is likely dead in the water.

The majority of Point of Views GPU sales were in Europe, though the company did do business in the USA, China, Hong Kong and several other regions. Later in the companies life, Point of View branched out into Tablets, Laptops and other PC accessories, though ultimately the company was unable to make any money in its later years.

Right now it is unknown what will happen to Point of View's company assets, though they will likely be sold off to pay some of the companies debts.

Sad, they were in many British etailers but started disappearing a few years ago. They had some funky box art. My beloved GTX 480 Quote

I had the GTX 470 by them. OCUK got a batch and were selling them very cheap (£170) when they were £250+ everywhere else. Nice looking card, but I put a Zalman cooler on it to reduce the noise.

Nice company too, sent me some GTX 295 stickers way back when. Shame they are gone really.Quote

Shame really. Purchased my first 8500 gt off them back around 7 years ago, had the free Ratatouille game with it. Even overclocked it to tidy standards so it would run Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare: 30-40 fps https://www.google.co.uk/search?q=86...s69z2coeW3M%3AQuote
