Project Cars release date delayed slightly

Project Cars has been pushed back to April 2nd, from it's intended release in March. Slightly Mad Studio's says this is to "provide fans with the best gaming experience they can have". Let's hope this game launches without issues.

Project Cars was originally intended to be released on PC, PS4 and Xbox One on March 20th and come to Wii U at a later date, now the game has been pushed back to April 2nd. The push back in the release date is pretty minor compared to delays seen to other upcoming titles, but let's hope that the problems which have caused the delay can be fixed in this small amount of time.

Slightly Mad Studios have also said that the game will run at 60FPS and are aiming for a resolution of 1080p on both the Xbox One and PS4.

Bandai Namco also say that Project Cars will be boasting the largest number of tracks ever seen in a racing game and the game will include a "fully-dynamic weather and time of day" options and will allow a comprehensive set of tuning and pit strategy tools.

This is what the developer had to say about the delay in their press release.

"The slight shift of the release date is due to final adjustments in the game that are required to provide fans with the best gaming experience they can have,"

"Moving the release date was not an easy decision to make, as we know our fans are eager to get their hands-on on Project CARS", commented Slightly Mad Studios head Ian Bell. "But we know that these extra days will allow us to provide the best game experience that our fans deserve. We assure you the wait will be worth it when the game does arrive early April".

The game was originally intended to be released in November of last year, so let's hope that these delays have resulted in a superior product for gamers.
