Quantum Break now supports FreeSync and G-Sync

Quantum Break's launch on PC has been nothing short of a disaster, with the game offering sub-par performance at launch and coming exclusively on the Windows 10 store, which in turn left the game with the large number of disadvantages that the Universal Windows Program had to offer, such as the inability to turn V-Sync off and a lack of support for both FreeSync and G-Sync Adaptive refresh rate standards.

Since the game's launch Windows 10 has been updated to support a V-Sync off option on UWP applications, but that did not instantly provide a fix for this game as a patch was required to then enable this option in-game and in turn allow FreeSync and G-Sync to function properly.

Now over three weeks after Windows 10 gained support for v-sync off in UWP applications Quantum Break has now been patched to make use of this feature, finally giving high-end PC gamers the ability to make use of their expensive G-Sync or FreeSync displays when playing this game.

This new game update can be downloaded on the Windows 10 store, though sadly the new patch does not feature any performance optimizations.
