God of War players can expect up to 7% more performance from AMD's latest drivers

AMD has just released their first Radeon graphics driver of 2022, Radeon Software Adrenalin 22.1.1. This new driver from AMD adds new game-specific optimisations for God of War and Monster Hunter Rise, both of which are launching on PC this week.

Additionally, this new driver from AMD contains multiple big fixes, and one of the shortest lists of known issues that we have seen from AMD's driver team in recent years. AMD has clearly been working hard to fix the known issues within their software stack, and it shows.

Radeon users can expect more driver releases later this month, as January 19th will mark the launch of AMD;s Radeon RX 6500 XT graphics card. AMD is also likely to release new drivers for games like Rainbow Six: Extraction and Serious Sam: Siberian Mayhem, both of which are launching on PC later this month.

Below are AMD's full release notes for their Radeon Software 22.1.1 drivers.

- Radeon performance metrics and logging features may intermittently report extremely high and incorrect memory clock values.
