Resident Evil 4's HD Project is making progress, making some huge visual improvements over the original by giving the world HD textures, additional shadows and more complex 3D models.

This essentially gives Resident Evil 4 the HD remaster treatment, maintaining the game's original gameplay and aesthetic while giving the game graphics which are much more suitable for modern day PCs.

Below are a few screenshots that compare the new HD versions and the original PC version, showcasing exactly how much progress has been made since the game originally released.

This project is still a work in progress but the Creator of the Project has already completed several key areas of the game, with "The Village" section of the HD remaster project already being available to download.
