Resident Evil 7: Biohazard

Resident Evil 7: Biohazard will be coming to PC and Xbox One with an expected launch date of January 24th, 2017. Right now there is not confirmation whether this game will be a timed exclusive on the PS4, or will be available on all platforms simultaneously.

This game will be playable on the PS4 in VR, though at this time it is unknown if this game will support VR on the PC with the HTC Vive or Oculus Rift.

The game will be moving back towards the series' survival horror roots, refreshing its gameplay systems and creating a tense atmosphere with Capcom's new RE game engine.

Resident Evil 7 embodies the series’ signature gameplay elements of exploration and tense atmosphere that first coined “survival horror” some twenty years ago; meanwhile, a complete refresh of gameplay systems simultaneously propels the survival horror experience to the next level.

Terrifying fans at events across the globe last year, the PlayStation VR “KITCHEN” tech demo was developed utilizing the RE Engine’s VR oriented tools, and is the foundation on which the talented Resident Evil team has crafted the immersive horror experience in Resident Evil 7.

Powered by the RE Engine in tandem with industry leading audio and visual technologies, Resident Evil 7 is poised to deliver a disturbingly realistic experience that will define the next era in horror entertainment.

Right now a playable demo is available, but it is exclusively available to PlayStation Plus members on the PS4.

They sure can make promo videos and set the tone for a game. I played the original as a teen and loved it - then played through 1-2-3-code veronica- and finaly RES 4 for the wii.

The RES 4 was the last good game for me as between Code Veronica and RES 4 AND after were all . The story has been done to bits and I think its a franchise that should be over by now - stop milking the cow...

I would think that any ORIGINAL fan of Resident Evil would say that RES 4 was the last good game.

Trailers Looks Sweet Though.Quote
