RX 460 Windforce and Dual Pictured
Thanks to Videocardz two new custom RX 460 designs have been pictured, show us the RX 460 Windforce from Gigabyte and the ASUS RX 460 Dual for the first time.
The ASUS RX 460 is expected to be ASUS' lower end RX 460 model, lacking the 6-pin power connection of the RX 460 Gaming Strix, making it a perfect card so a small form factor PC, where users wish to avoid cable clutter or low powered PCs which require reasonable 1080p gaming performance.
Please note that the RX 460 Dual name refers the GPU's Dual fan cooler design. This GPU is only a single RX 460 GPU.
The RX 460 Windforce from Gigabyte will come with a factory overclock over AMD's reference speeds, though at this time it is unknown if this new GPU will require a PCIe 6-pin power connection.
Below are the specifications of AMD's RX 400 series of GPUs, including ASUS' RX 460 Strix Gaming.
