During CES 2021, Sapphire confined that they had partnered with Cudo to create dedicating cryptocurrency mining hardware, merging their hardware with Cudo's software to create feature-rich easy-to-use cryptomining solutions. The first of these systems is the Sapphire INCA EP-10 Blockchain Server, which contains ten custom Radeon graphics cards for cryptocurrency mining.

Sapphire's cryptocurrency mining graphics card is a passively cooled solution called the GPRO X070 8GB GDDR6, a blockchain graphics solution that's cooled using airflow from Sapphire's INCA EP-10 servers. This graphics card is an RDNA-based graphics card that uses the same silicon as AMD's Radeon RX 5700 XT graphics card.

Sapphire's mining solution doesn't just target maximised hash rates; it also targets efficiency. With their solutions, Sapphire wants to maximise their systems' performance while minimising power draw, maximising profitability while being as environmentally-friendly as possible. When used in conjunction with Cudo's mining software, Sapphire can ensure optimal performance levels. This software is expected to improve over time, thanks to Sapphire's continued collaboration with the company.

At this time, Sapphire doesn't appear to be using any of AMD's RDNA 2 chips to create dedicated cryptocurrency mining graphics cards. Thus far, only older Radeon architectures have been used in these systems. This makes sense, given how AMD's older graphics cards do not feature hardware-level support for many next-generation gaming features, making them hard to recommend to gamers who want their systems to last.
