Over on saraba1st.com (via Videocardz), a new mining-oriented graphics card from Sapphire has been revealed, a dual Radeon RX 570 GPU that can deliver users a hash rate of almost 60 MH/s.

While this is not impressive by today's standard, it highlights how large the mining market was and how far graphics card designers were willing to go to accommodate the market's needs. Nobody released a dual RX 570 graphics card for the gaming market, and a lot of work is required to design and manufacture a custom graphics card like this one.

According to software readings, GPU within this mining card consumes around 78W (software reading) and delivers a hash rate of around 30 MH/s. This gives this graphics card a total power consumption value of 156 watts, though this mining card's real power consumption will be higher due to how software reads the power consumption of AMD products.

While most manufacturers don't want to be associated with mining hardware, Sapphire is one of the few brands that has heavily publicised its mining solutions.

Back at CES 2021, Sapphire confirmed that they had partnered with Cudo to create dedicated cryptocurrency mining hardware, showcasing their GPRO X070 Blockchain graphics solution. This graphics card uses repurposed RX 5700 XT silicon, highlighting that Sapphire's still in the mining business.

While Sapphire's dual RX 570 based mining card isn't something that Sapphire's selling today, it is an interesting product that showcases how manufacturers have pivoted to support the cryptocurrency market. The lack of display connectors on this graphics card alone should highlight that this custom graphics card is not designed with gamers in mind.
