South Park: The Fractured But Whole has been delayed until Q1 2017

Ubisoft has today announced that South Park: The Fractured But Whole has been delayed from December 6th, 2016 to Q1 2017 on PS4, Xbox One and PC.

This delay has been made allow Obsidian Entertainment, the developers of the South Park The Fractured But Whole, to improve the quality of the game and develop enough content to meet the high expectations of fans. South Park: The Stick of Truth was a huge hit on both console and PC, combining South Park's humour, aesthetic and storytelling perfectly with its turn-based RPG style gameplay.

South Park: The Fractured But Whole will now launch on Xbox One, Playstation 4 and PC, calendar Q1 2017. The development team wants to make sure the game experience meets the high expectations of  fans and the additional time will help them achieve this goal.

It has already been confirmed that South Park: The Fractured But Whole will support 60FPS gameplay on the PC, which is an improvement over the original title which played at a locked 30FPS on both PC and consoles.

They had it totally right before. Well, Obsidian did but you know...

The first one was one of THE biggest gaming surprises I have ever had and clearly THE best licensed game EVER.

This one is starting to worry me really. They obviously haven't used the original engine 'cause if they had it would have been done ages ago.

I know sequels are never usually as good but sometimes you can be surprised.Quote
