Steam's latest VR beta now lets you skin your controllers in VR, allowing HTC Vive/Steam VR users to use alternative skins for their motion controllers for any game that uses the default controller model.

Right now the only working alternative model for the HTC Vive controller is Horned Controller model that was created by a Valve employee, though several VR users are already working on their own versions like the Aperture Science themed controller that is pictured below.

Alongside updated controller models, the Steam VR workshop already includes several VR backgrounds for use with the HTC Vive's virtual desktop mode, with more moddable features said to be coming to the HTC Vive in the coming weeks and months.
