Tamriel Online turns Skyrim into a Co-Op game
The Elder Scrolls Online just got a refresh with the Tamriel Unlimited edition, eliminating monthly subscription fees and featuring new content. But let’s be honest, it’s still not quite as good as its singleplayer-only predecessor: Skyrim. For those of you that prefer Skyrim over TESO: Tamriel unlimited – and I imagine that’s a lot of you – I bring you great news. A new, work-in-progress mod called Tamriel Online is in the making, and it does just what its name suggests. It turns Skyrim into a co-op game.
While the mod has only been in development for just two weeks, an early version is already available. If you want to help the developers test the mod, you can download it here. The mod is obviously very buggy at the moment. Swapping armor can’t always be seen by companions, and you can’t play quests together. Another thing worth noting: if you murder people, your mate won’t be able to see that either, so going on a murderous rampage in Markarth with your best friend is not possible. Yet.
There are already multiple overviews of the mod on YouTube. The one below is from YouTuber Brodual, who gives a great overview of the features and limitations of the mod.
To install the mod, you’ll need Skyrim (obviously), Skyrim Script Extender (or SKSE) and ScriptDragon installed on your PC. A word of warning though: like we mentioned before, it is work in progress, so don’t expect a silky smooth experience.

Just got into ESOTU and although it's loads of fun, I do miss some Skyrim elements. Then again, it's not the same game..
