The Witcher 3 and Batman Arkham Knight to support DX12 After Launch

MSI may have accidentally revealed that The Witcher 3 and Batman Arkham Knight will support DX12 after launch in an article about Windows 10 and DirectX 12. Here is what they had to say;

"Windows 10 is coming, what does that mean for gaming? The most exciting part of Windows 10 for gamers is the introduction of DirectX 12. You are likely to start seeing the benefits of the new graphics technology already in The Witcher 3, Batman: Arkham Knight and more games released later this year. Some CPU-bound games like MMO’s are able get a performance bump of up to 50% according to Microsoft, which just sounds epic to us!"

While MSI dis not say explicitly that Batman: Arkham Knight and The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt will have support for directX 12, what else could they mean when they say "new graphics technology already in the Witcher 3, [and] Batman" in an article about Windows 10 and DirectX 12?

The DirectX 12 API will be a very interesting release for both PC gamers and developers, as the CPU benefits alone are nothing short of outstanding and the new API should also benefit SLI and Crossfire users by making Multi GPU configurations easier to use.

Hopefully both these game will in fact support the next generation API from Microsoft as both are looking to be graphical powerhouses and every little bit of extra performance would be appreciated in these titles, especially if you are looking to max these games out.

This could be a hint of how hard these games will be to run.
Can't see B.A.K being that hard to run though as it's on the same engine as Arkham Origins.Quote
