On September 1st Creative Assembly will be releasing both free and paid for DLC for Total War Warhammer, giving players new legendary lords and adding several new units and one of a kind "Units of Renown".

All owners of Total War Warhammer will be getting Vlad Von Carstein as a Legendary Lord, a character who is the first and likely the most powerful of the Vampire Lords, with the ability to give his whole army Vanguard Deployment. 

The remainder of the DLC will come as part of "The Grim and the Grave" expansion pack, which will add two new legendary Lords to the game, Volkmar the Grim, Grand Theologist of the Cult of Sigmar for the Empire and Helman Ghrost, a mad Necromancer who serves the Vampire Counts.  

The Grim and the Grave DLC will come with 5 new units, additional quest chains and 5 new custom battle maps, adding a lot of additional variety to the game. With this DLC also comes 18 units of renown, which unique one of a kind units which come with unique advantages over their traditional counterparts.  

 

 

The Grim and the Grave expansion will release on September 1st alongside Creative Assembly's Free Legendary Lord DLC.

Yeah but it was not the greatest, little short and for me at least, extremely easy. I beat it using only two hordes on VH because there was no need for more. It was also very expensive imo. I just feel this DLC pack brings more content that more people would enjoy and it costs nearly 3x less than Beastmen.Quote
