Ubisoft Is Looking Into Assassin's Creed: Syndicate's SLI Issues

Right now SLI scaling in Ubisoft's Assassin's Creed Syndicate is awful, but Ubisoft have confirmed that they are working on the issue, rather than giving up like Rocksteady have with Batman: Arkham Knight.

Ubisift's Community Manager, "Mr_Shade", has stated that Ubisoft are aware of the SLI issues, and that they will are working to resolve them. Right now Ubisoft recommend using a single GPU with the game until Nvidia release a new driver for SLI in Assassin's Creed Unity.

The team are aware of the issue and are working to resolve it – it’s possible that Nvidia will release driver updates to correct this, but in the mean time – please try using just one GPU for the game so you can play if that solution works for you.

Ubisoft Is Looking Into Assassin's Creed: Syndicate's SLI Issues

Right now Assassin's Creed: Syndicate is a highly demanding game, though not quite as demanding as it's predecessor Assassin's Creed: Unity. Right now max settings on Nvidia's flagship GTX 980Ti can have trouble maintaining a high framerate at 1080p, never mind a 4K or 1440p resolution.

With the game being so demanding, good SLI support is a must if users want to crank the settings up, so hopefully Ubisoft and Nvidia can fix their SLI support issues soon. Hopefully the game will also have good Crossfire support in the future, but given the state of other recent Ubisoft games this is highly unlikely.

Hope they can fix it. I know we're in the minority but I'm sure there are still significant numbers of users with dual GPU's. I'm really hoping they don't just give up like the Arkham Knight team did.Quote

I don't own this game but is it just SLI that's broken or is Xfire also not working well? Just curious.Quote

Seems to be a lot of XFire issues too. Just not well optimised for multi GPU setup.Quote
