Valve has released Vulkan Support for Dota 2 via a beta update

Valve has released Vulkan API Support for Dota 2, allowing players to enhance the game's performance when using Vulkan compatible hardware, especially on Linux.

This update is currently in beta and required users to opt-in, as users will be required to use the latest GPU drivers and have a GPU with over 2GB of VRAM in order to function correctly.

Below is some footage of Intel Demoing the Vulkan API on DOTA 2 earlier this year.

Those who wish to play DOTA 2 with the Vulkan API will need to have Vulkan compatible GPU drivers, which should be available on to download on their GPU manufacturer's website.

You can join the discussion on Vulkan API support coming to Dota 2 on the OC3D Forums.
