Valve will not be exhibiting at E3

I hope you were not expecting Half Life 3 to be announced at this years E3, as Valve has just announced that they will not be exhibiting at the conference this year.

With Steam Machines, the Steam controller and even the Steam Link coming this year, many people expected Valve to have a big presence at this years E3, but the company has confirmed that they will not be taking meetings at E3 for any of it's upcoming products, though some developers may be using their Vive Headset, which was recently shipped out to developers

Valve will not be exhibiting at E3

Outside of their own meetings, Valve has not even been listed as one of the contributors for the first ever PC Gaming Show at E3, which will be held on June 16th.

Valve has never been a big contributor during E3, but this doesn't mean that Valve will not have anything new to show over the next few weeks.

Not much of a shocker. After all these years I think it is clear they are pushing to improve their Steam platform rather than produce games. Actually, does anyone know how many game devs Valve have employed as that would give a lot away.Quote

lmao I can't wait to see the Steam box fail.

Instead of trying to be a big greedy corporation they should have stuck to making games.

Not trying to compete with the consoles with weak under powered cack.

Still, like Nvidia they'll soon learn.Quote

I do like the idea with the steamOS though, they also allow you to make your own, so it's not exactly.. You know....Quote
