Valve will release Vulkan Support for Dota 2 next week
Valve has confirmed that they will be releasing Vulkan Support for Dota 2 next week, allowing players to enhance the game's performance when using Vulkan compatible hardware.
This should be very exciting for DOTA 2 players, especially players on Linux, as the Vulkan API offers a lot of performance benefits over OpenGL by giving developers low-level, console-like, access to your gaming hardware. below is some footage of Intel Demoing the Vulkan API on DOTA 2.
Those who wish to play DOTA 2 with the Vulkan API will need to have Vulkan compatible GPU drivers, which should be available on to download on their manufacturer's website.
