Mario is quickly becoming the unofficial mascot of Unreal Engine 4, appearing this time in the UE 4 Kite Demo. Sadly this time the demo is unavailable to download, but the modder says that it will be available soon.

| Combined my Super Mario project with the Kite demo :D i tried to compile the whole demo to make it playable for all of you but im still getting errors, so download will be coming very soon

The demo was played on the following setup;

CPU:I7-4790K @ 4.8Ghz 1.32Vc + RAIJINTEK Triton watercooler
GPU: GTX 980 Ti EVGA Superclocked+ ACX 2.0+ OCed = 1366mhz core / 4100mhz Memory
MB:Asrock Z97 Extreme 4
Ram:8 GB Ram DDR3 2133 Mhz Ram G.Skill
HDD:1000 GB Sata 3.0 6 Gb/s Harddrive + 2TB hdd
PSU:630 Watt Thermaltake 80+ Germany

This is not the first time that Mario has made an appearance in Unreal Engine 4, and this will certainly not be the last. Just over a week ago we found Mario running through Nvidia's PhysX Flex Demo, which was certainly a amusing thing to watch.

Why is it so blurry. I just start feeling seasick just by watching Mario move. It's so strange, every unreal engine 4 landscape I've seen is so strange, it's as if it's not on focus. The vanashing of Ethan Carter is also that blurry, something is not quite wright with the engine.Quote

I think the high volume of foliage/LODing is what causes it to appear blurry - I could be wrong though.Quote

It's mostly depth of field and camera effects, you can turn it off. It's to make it more 'cinematic'Quote
