Watch Nvidia's CES 2022 Keynote Here - Here's what to expect

Here's what to expect from Nvidia's CES 2022 keynote

CES 2022 has started, and Nvidia plans to showcase a lot of new products virtually at the event. Like many other high profile tech companies, Nvidia has pulled out of CES 2022's physical event, but that doesn't mean that they have nothing to show us.

Nvidia's CES 2022 keynote starts at 4 PM, with Jeff Fisher (Senior Vice President of Geforce), and Ali Kani (Vice President and General Manager of Automotive) hosting the event. As such, we can expect to see some autonomous driving technology and a wave of new gaming products.

On the gaming side, Nvidia is expected to reveal new RTX 30 series products, both for the desktop and laptop markets. Currently, Nvidia is expected to reveal multiple new graphics cards, including their RTX 3090 Ti and RTX 3080 Ti mobile. With AMD and Intel being expected to reveal new processors, we expect Nvidia to showcase a large range of new laptop designs at CES, and new technologies that will help push customers towards Nvidia graphics instead of competing products from Intel and AMD.

Nvidia's CES 2022 keynote will start at 4 PM GMT, starting shortly after AMD's 3 PM (GMT) keynote. In Las Vegas Local Time (PT), Nvidia's CES keynote will start at 8 AM. The video will be streamed live on YouTube. This YouTube stream is embedded below.

Jensen Huang, Nvidia's CEO, is not expected to be present during the company's CES 2022 keynote. This means that we shouldn't expect major product announcements from Nvidia. So don't expect RTX 40 series GPUs, next-generation workstation accelerators, and other major innovations. As such, all new Nvidia graphics cards are expected to be new RTX 30 series (Ampere) SKUs.
