Witcher 3: Wild Hunt - Hearts of Stone Launch Trailer

The Witcher 3 was one of the most popular games of this year, being well received by both critics and player alike. Many say that this game is a good contender to receive a game of the year award from some major publications, though we will have to wait and see what else 2015 has in store for us.

On October 13th Witcher fans will be able to play the game's first expansion, Hearts of Stone, giving players an additional 10 hours of gameplay and an a whole new storyline.

Step again into the shoes of Geralt of Rivia, a professional monster slayer, this time hired to defeat a ruthless bandit captain, Olgierd von Everec, a man who possesses the power of immortality.
This expansion to “The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt” packs over 10 hours of new adventures, introducing new characters, powerful monsters, unique romance and a brand new storyline shaped by your choices.

The problem for me is that Witcher 3 just did not grab me or excite me in any way. I eventually got it running wonderfully on my Fury X with a mixture of high and very high settings. Problem is the game was tiring to play as I just wasn't enjoying it.

I'm a Fallout guy. Witches and spells and all of that magic BS are just completely mind numbingly boring to me. Quote

Admittedly it was a bit of a slog in the beginning, but persevere and it pays off especially once you've leveled up enough to be a genuine threat. The only spells that were of real use were Igni and Yerden, swing slash chop great fun.

Been a while since I completed it, I loved every minute of it but I have read books on that kind of thing and played 1 and 2 to death =)

I want the game on steam so waiting till the chrimbo sales and will pick them up together as I just don't trust gog for some reason and I just want all my games in one place.

But the only spell I used was the shield what ever that is called... my brain is really not working today =(Quote

I have it on GoG can't complain really other than the lack of screenshot functions, keeps it upto date and clouds your saves too.Quote
