XFX's RX 470 Double Dissipation has been pictured, with a 6-pin PCIe power connection and a sexy full cover backplate. This GPU will have more display output options than AMD's reference RX 480 design, with three DisplayPort connections, a single HDMI 2.0 and an additional DVI--D output.

The X-shaped box is said to be exclusive to the Chinese market, though the same GPU will be released in all regions. Right now the clock speeds of this GPU are unknown, though they are expected to be higher than AMD's reference RX 470.

Below are the known specification for the reference designs for AMD's RX 400 series of GPUs. This XFX 470 Double Dissipation will likely come with a factory overclock, allowing it to outperform AMD's reference design.

Unlike most aftermarket models of the RX 480, this RX 470 design from XFX will use a single 6-pin power connection, though it is worth noting that the RX 470 has much lower power consumption than the RX 480.

This GPU will need to consume around 30W more power before this GPU breaks PCI power specifications, so overclockers should not run into any issues.

Why on earth did they leave the shroud at full length like that? It looks so unfinishedQuote

Have to agree with xnax, having that in your case with the shroud just jutting out makes it look like a bodge jobQuote

It wouldn't look so bad if the plastic did not look like that really nasty tacky cheap stuff that they use on junk items. It looks like some one took a Dremel and ground down all the edges the finish is that bad ! The back plate is really nice (hate to admit that) but then they go and completely ruin that too by putting their bloody stickers all over it. Ones that you won't be allowed to remove unless you want to lose their warranty.

Why couldn't they have just stuck them on the PCB first?Quote
