ASUS teases an ROG controller reveal at CES 2023

ASUS plans to reveal an ROG gamepad at CES 2023

ASUS plans to reveal a lot of new products at CES 2023, and amongst them will be an ROG gamepad. Based on their teaser, it looks like ASUS’ Republic of Gamers controller will feature an integrated screen and RGB lighting, though at this time it is unknown what else the company’s game controller will offer.

With their teaser, ASUS has the heading “Customized Controls. Evolved.”, suggesting that the company’s ROG gamepad will have a lot of customisation options. It is possible that ASUS’ ROG Gamepad will be similar to Microsoft’s Xbox Elite controllers, or Sony’s planned DualSense Edge controller. At this time, we can only speculate about what ASUS plans to offer with their new controller.

It is likely that ASUS has designed their ROG gamepad to be both PC and console compatible, though at this time it is unknown what platforms the company’s gamepad will support. We can expect to hear more on January 3rd, when ASUS will be hosting their ROG “For Those Who Dare” event.
