Cherry MX Board 6.0 Keyboard has become Available

Cherry have just announced the introduction of what they call "the fastest keyboard in the world", which uses Cherry's all new RealKey technology.

The keyboard in question is the Cherry MX 6.0, which is able to transmit signals form every key on your keyboard within one millisecond of pressing your key, even while all keys are pressed at once. This is staggeringly fast when compared to regular keyboards, which typically have a response time of around 20ms.

This keyboard should prove very popular among competitive gamers, as this effectively reduced your reaction time by up to 19ms as your PC will register your actions that much faster.

Consider the fact that at a framerate of 60FPS it takes 16.7ms for your PC to create a new frame, so your keyboard inputs will be registered over one frame faster than they would with a typical keyboard.

Most users will not notice this difference between using this keyboard while gaming and a standard keyboard while gaming, but every little helps.
