Razer launches a range of Star Wars Accessories to Celebrate May 4th.

Today is Star Wars day, and to celebrate Razer has created several Empire themed variants of their most popular products, delivering a Stormtrooper aesthetic and the same level of quality that gamers should expect from Razer's non-Star Wars lineup.

Making up Razer's new Star Wars line of products is the Blackwidow Lite Stormtrooper Edition keyboard, the Atheris Stormtrooper Edition mouse and the Goliathus Extended Stormtrooper Edition mousemat. Each of these products is available in the UK/US for £99.99/$99.99, £59.99/$59.99 and £34.99/$34.99 respectively on Razer's online store.

These products have been created in partnership with Disney. Below is a comment from Razer's CEO, Min-Laing Tan;

     Star Wars is a cultural phenomenon with a rich history not only in cinema, but also in gaming. We are excited to have joined forces with Disney to create this limited edition for our biggest fans and bring one of the saga’s most iconic characters to life.

So, if you’re a big Star Wars fan who games, these are the peripherals you’ve been looking for. They don the infamous design, are reasonably priced, and are still honed for gaming, productivity, and performance. They all have that Razer stamp of quality that we’ve grown to know as well, so you can be sure of their quality and durability. They might make some people’s eyes roll, but there is something quite cool about seeing all three together

When you look closely at it it kinda just looks like they took off the keys and applied a vinyl cover to a regular board. Unless of course the deck is screen printed properly.

The bundle price at 170 dollars doesn't seem too bad though.Quote
