ASUS ROG has announced their new GK2000 Horus Mechanical Keyboard, a keyboard that is highly programmable with a built in 32-bit micro-programmed control unit (MCU) and 4 MB of onboard memory. This Keyboard is designed from the ground up for gamers, even going so far as to bundle with it a carry case for LAN events.

ASUS Republic of Gamers (ROG) announced the Horus GK2000 mechanical gaming keyboard. It has a built-in 32-bit micro-programmed control unit (MCU) and 4MB of onboard memory, plus an intuitive ROG user interface that allows users to customize macro and function keys for complex multi-key commands with just a single keystroke.

This keyboard makes use of Cherry MX  RED keys with a red backlight and features heavy ROG styling, giving this keyboard a very distinctive look. users will be able to fully customize the lighting of this keyboard, with each individual key being able to be configured so that you have the power to light up all of the keys or only the keys you choose.

This keyboard will feature a lot of features that gamers would usually call optional extras, like dedicated media keys, scroll keys for lighting and volume and has a movable palm rest and a dedicated stand for mobile devices.

This keyboard will be available soon to purchase, but right now ASUS has not giving us pricing information.
