Steam Client Update delivers early Steam Controller fixes
Valve updates its Steam Client with early Steam Controller fixes
Valve’s new May 8th update for its Steam Client has been released, and it includes many fixes for the company’s newly released Steam Controller. This includes fixes for compatibility issues, firmware fixes, and configuration fixes. Another important fix addresses an issue where Steam Controller users were unable to use their left trackpad when the controller was used wirelessly.
A new addition to Steam is the “Grip Sensor Settings”. This allows Steam users to configure their controller’s grip feature. An option has also been added to disable Steam Controller battery notifications.
Below are Valve’s full release notes for their May 8th Steam Client update. This update should be downloaded automatically when users restart Steam.
