Xbox launches its Nano Controller for portability and small hands
Xbox unveils its tiny Xbox Nano controller
Xbox has officially unveiled its new Xbox Nano controller, a compact gamepad designed for younger players, smaller hands, and portable gaming. What we have here is a controller that is easier to transport and well-suited to on-the-go gaming. A pocketable controller that makes sense for use with portable hardware.
At just over 5 inches long and weighing 3.5 ounces, this controller is compact. It still features the Xbox’s 18 standard inputs, but in a new form factor. The controller is compatible with Xbox consoles, Windows PCs, iOS and Android devices, and some smart TVs. Xbox-level compatibility with a new form factor.
At £44.99/$49.99, Xbox’s Nano controller is notably more affordable than Microsoft’s standard Xbox Wireless Controller. This makes it a great second controller for Xbox consoles and a portable controller for laptops or Xbox Cloud gaming devices. Its pocketable design also makes it a great option for bringing to a friend’s house for split-screen multiplayer gaming.
Xbox’s new Nano controller will be available on November 4th and is available to pre-order now. At launch, the controller will be available in Argentina, Australia, Austria, Belgium, Brazil, Canada, China, Colombia, Czechia, Denmark, Dominican Republic, Finland, France, Germany, Guatemala, Hong Kong SAR, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Japan, Korea, Mexico, Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Panama, Peru, Poland, Portugal, Slovakia, Spain, Switzerland, Taiwan, Trinidad & Tobago, the United Kingdom, and the United States.
