ADATA XPG has officially validated their Z1 and Flame series memory as Ryzen Ready, with their kits now being part of AMD’s QVL (Qualified Vendors List). This means that consumers can now rely on these memory kits being seamlessly compatible with AMD’s Ryzen CPUs without any worries regarding POST issues and other conflicts. 

These new memory kits have been validated by AMD on MSI motherboards, with this validation also covering overclocked A-XMP profiles, which means that these kits have been verified at their full memory clock speeds. Users should still update to their motherboard’s most recent BIOS to ensure compatibility.  

 

ADATA XPG have officially validated their Z1 and Flame series memory as Ryzen Ready.   

At the time of writing Ryzen’s memory support is not perfect, making it important for Ryzen users to check their motherboard manufacturer’s memory compatibility lists to ensure that their chosen DDR4 memory kit will function properly. 

AMD and motherboard vendors are working to increase the memory compatibility of their AM4 platform, though this issue will likely take several weeks or even months to resolve properly.
