Biwin preps 192GB DDR5 memory kits and new PCIe 5.0 SSD storage options for CES 2026
Biwin is preparing for CES 2026, where it will showcase its top memory and storage products. This includes ultra-fast DDR5 memory for AI, content creation, and extreme multitasking, as well as new storage solutions for creators, gamers, and cinematographers.
Leading its DRAM lineup is Biwin’s new Black Opal Gold Edition DW100 RGB memory kits. At the top of their range is a 192GB (4x48GB) DDR5-6000 kit, featuring CL28 timings to deliver optimal performance on AMD CPU platforms. These kits are said to be optimised for stable operations on Gigabyte, MSI, and ASUS motherboard platforms.
With 192GB of memory capacity, these DRAM kits are ideal for high-end content creation workloads, AI use cases, and edge computing scenarios. Sadly, no pricing or availability information for these memory kits has been made available.
Biwin also appears to be expanding its PCIe 5.0 SSD lineup. With a reported “DRAM cache up to 8 GB”, it looks like Biwin has created a new 8TB version of its Black Opal X570 PRO SSD. Previously, we were only aware of Biwin having models with up to 4TB storage capacities. This SSD boasts sequential speeds of up to 14000 MB/s read and 13000 MB/s write. Furthermore, these SSDs offer up to 2000K/1600K read/write IOPS.
Biwin’s new removable storage products
At CES 2025, Biwin also plans to showcase new CFexpress 4.0 and microSD Express cards. With its Amber CB500 CFexpress 4.0 Type-B cards, Biwin has achieved read speeds up to 3750 MB/s and write speeds up to 3500 MB/s. The card is also the world’s first CFexpress Type B product with VPG800 certification. This ensures sustained speeds of at least 800 MB/s. That’s great for super-long recordings of 8K/12K RAW footage. Up to 1TB models of this storage solution will be showcased at CES.
With its Amber ME300 microSD Express cards, Biwin has the perfect storage solution for Switch 2 users. With SD 7.1 support and read/write speeds of up to 900/800 MBps, Biwin guarantees strong gaming performance and fast loading times. Note that capacities of up to 1TB will be available for this microSD Express solution.
