Colorful’s iGame Shadow II DDR5 modules are “engineered” for Ryzen 9000 CPUs

Colorful launches Ryzen 9000 optimised iGame Shadow II DDR5 memory kits with timings as low as CL26

Colorful has expanded its iGame range of DDR5 memory kits with new models that are “engineered specifically for the AMD Ryzen 9000 platform.” Amongst other options, Colorful is offering kits with DDR5-6400 speeds with CL28 timings and DDR5-6000 speeds with CL26 timings.

With its new iGame Shadow II kits, Colorful aims to deliver high speeds and tight timings to enable optimal gaming performance with AMD’s Ryzen 9000 series CPUs.

The iGame Shadow II flagship DDR5 memory kits build on the successful foundation of the first-generation iGame Shadow series, engineered specifically for the AMD Ryzen 9000 platform. It supports both AMD EXPO and Intel XMP 3.0 technologies. Featuring DDR5-6400 with ultra-low CL28 latency, these kits are designed for effortless plug-and-play performance with pre-configured profiles that unlock the full gaming potential of AMD’s latest desktop CPUs. In a move that highlights its extreme overclocking capabilities, the memory operates at a high-performance voltage of 1.4 V, even lower than the already efficient 1.45 V of similar high-speed kits. This configuration offers enthusiasts greater flexibility and stability when pushing frequency and timings to the limit.

With these new iGame Shadow series memory kits, Colorful will be offering users capacities of between 32GB (2x16GB) and 96GB (2x48GB). Now that Colorful’s high capacity kit options have slacker timings than their lower-speed counterparts.

Alongside high speeds and tight timings, the new iGame Shadow II range features an interesting aesthetic. Modules will be available in Black and White, and feature RGB illumination. Each module has an inked aesthetic, giving these modules a unique look.

Colorful plans to release its new Shadow II DDR5 modules in waves. Their initial release will be for their DDR6-6000 2x24GB (48GB total) CL28 memory kits. More module speeds will become available over time.
