Corsair launches 4,866MHz Vengeance LPX Memory for Ryzen 3rd Gen and X570

AMD’s Ryzen 3rd Generation processors are ready for today’s high-speed DDR4 memory modules, with Corsair taking X570 to new heights with AMD-optimised 4,866 DDR4 memory modules. Yes, Corsair is prepared to take DDR4 to almost 5GHz on AMD’s Ryzen 3rd Gen processors.

Corsair’s latest Vengeance LPX memory DIMMs are designed to deliver speeds of 4,866MHz with C18 timings. Sadly, Corsair has not released the full specifications of these new memory modules yet, though we expect them to use up to 1.5V of power to achieve these speeds and timings. If you want to push your Ryzen system to the limits, these are the DIMMs for the job.

So what is the cost of having the best? A lot! Corsair lists these DIMMS with a £974.99 price tag in the UK. Beyond that, these DIMMs are tested on ASUS’ ROG Crosshair VIII Formula, MSI’s MEG X570 GODLIKE, and MSI’s PRESTIGE X570 CREATION, some of the highest-end X570 motherboards on the market. These memory modules are only for those who want to pay for the best of the best.

To help keep these DIMMs cool, Corsair has decided to ship these memory modules with an optional airflow fan. This cooler will be available in black/red, black/blue and black/silver to suit your PC’s style.

Gamers who wish to light up their builds with RGB lighting can also opt to use Corsair’s Vengenace Pro RGB series memory kits. These kits are available with speeds of up to 4,700MHz, with each DIMM offering users 10 addressable LEDs that can be controlled through Corsair’s ICUE software.

Corsair’s 4,866MHz Vengeance LPX memory is available to order here, and Corsair’s 4,700MHz Vengeance Pro RGB DDR4 memory is available to order here.
