Right now Corsair's Vengeance LED memory is available to purchase at the Corsair store and can be purchased at speeds of 2,666MHz up to 3,600MHz, though higher speed variants are coming in the near future. Right now kits are available in 2x8GB, 4x8GB, 2x16GB and 4x16GB, giving buyer plenty of options whether you are using X99 or Z170 chipsets.

CORSAIR VENGEANCE LED Series DDR4 memory modules are designed to provide a unique look with vibrant LEDs, bold color accents and a precision engineered light bar. Created specifically to pair with the design themes of mid-range and high-end motherboards and other PC gaming components.

This new DDR4 memory will be available from £84.99 for a 2x8GB kit from Corsair's online storefront and will be available in both Red and White LED colour options.

So is 2016 going to be the year of the LED or something? At this rate you'll be able to get LEDs on every component inside your rig!Quote

Personally dont see any problem with RGB or LEDs in a computer case or on specific pieces of hardware since you dont HAVE to use those LEDs. Most of the time you have an off switch option within the software so if you dont want it, dont use it type of deal. Personally I love the option of having things light up if I so choose; rather have it then be without it.Quote
