G.Skill launches a range of low latency DDR5-6400 memory kits for high-end PCs

G.Skill’s latest Trident Z5 Neo and Trident Z5 Royal Neo memory kits are ready for the fastest AMD and Intel systems

G.Skill have just launched a new range of DDR5 memory kits that deliver a mix of high speeds (DDR5-6400) and low latencies (CL30). These new Trident Z5 Neo and Trident Z5 Royal series DDR5 memory kits will be available in both XMP 3.0 and AMD EXPO forms. This makes these new kits ideal for both Intel-powered and AMD-based systems.

These new DDR5 memory kits feature speeds of DDR5-6400 with CL30-39-39-102 timings. Kit capacities of 2x16GB (32GB total) will be available. Note that this speed might not be supported by all modern CPUs. With modern AMD systems, this memory speed will require custom settings to run at 1:1 MCLK/FCLK ratio. If your CPU and motherboard can support these speeds with a 1:1 clock ratio, this will be the ideal memory kit for new Ryzen 9000 Zen 5 systems.

These new DDR5 memory kits will be available later this month. These kits should help high-speed DDR5 memory become more commonly available. That’s great news for those who want to get the most out of their next system.
