G.SKILL pushes DDR5 to higher capacities with new 64GB modules and 128GB kits
G.SKILL enters a new era of high-capacity overclocked memory with 64GB DDR5-8000 modules
G.SKILL is a company that is dedicated to pushing memory performance to its limits. However, there’s more to memory than raw speed. Capacity matters. That’s why G.SKILL has invested in new high-speed 64GB DDR5 modules, delivering users the performance and capacities required for maximum throughput.
G.SKILL claims to have created the world’s first DDR5-8000 64GB high-capacity memory modules. These modules feature 8,000 MT/s speeds and CL44-58-58-128 timings. These memory modules will be available in 128GB (2x64GB) kits. These kits target content creators, workstation users, and AI applications. After all, not many normal PC users need 128GB of memory across two modules. Note that these new modules should become available in Trident Z5 and Trident Z5 Royal NEO forms.
Below is a screenshot of these new DDR5-8000 memory modules after they were validated on an AMD Ryzen 9 9950X-based system. This PC used an ASUS ROG Crosshair X870E Apex motherboard for testing.
G.SKILL has also unleashed DDR5-9000 2x32GB (64GB) memory kits
Alongside their new 64GB modules, G.SKILL has also revealed new DDR5-9000 2x32GB memory kits. These kits deliver 9,000 MT/s speeds with CL48-64-64-144 memory timings and can be seen below on an ASUS ROG MAXIMUS Z890 APEX motherboard.
Sadly, G.SKILL has not announced the pricing of these new memory kits. However, we should expect these new memory modules to become available soon.
