G.Skill releases the world’s fastest DDR4 Trident Z RGB memory kit with 4700MHz speeds

Memory manufacturers from around the globe are pushing the envelope of what is possible with DRAM, with G.Skill leading the charge with the world’s first 4700MHz DDR4 memory kit.

These new kits utilise Samsung B-die memory ICs (integrated circuits) to offer capacities of 8GB per DIMM and CL latencies of 19-19-19-39 at 1.45V. These kits are all validated on an MSI Z370I Gaming Pro Carbon AC motherboard with an Intel i7 8700K, ensuring that every memory kit is capable of reaching their listed speeds.

G.Skill’s new 4700MHz memory kit will release under the Trident Z sub-brand, offering the same RGB LED implementation of existing Trident Z RGB series products, with G.Skill offering XMP 2.0 compatibility and support for Intel’s Z370 platform. This means that this kit will only be available in a dual DIMM configuration, with 2x 8GB kits.
