G.Skill reveals the “world’s fastest” DDR4 SODIMM memory kit
Avid followers of the PC hardware scene will already know that Corsair has previously announced their own 4,000MHz DDR4 Vengeance memory kits, which would make G.Skill’s worlds fastest claim’s seem a little dubious it is wasn’t for their ultra-low timings of CL18-18-18-38. G.Skill plans to release these new memory kits in Q1 2018, delivering some extreme levels of memory performance for such a small form factor. Â
G.Skill have tested these new memory kits on ASRock’s mini-ITX X299E-ITX/ac motherboard with an Intel i9 7900X processor for over six hours using memory intensive applications. To create these new Ripjaws SO-DIMMs, G.Skill have utilised hand-binned Samsung B-Die DDR4 memory components, allowing these kits to offer such high storage speeds and low latencies while running at just 1.35V Â

G.Skill’s new quad-channel 4,000MHz DDR4 Ripjaws SO-DIMM memory kits will release in Q1 of 2018 from authorised distribution partners.Â
