G.Skill announces their RGB illuminated Trident Z DDR4 memory kits

G.Skill announces their RGB illuminated Trident Z DDR4 memory kits, which requires no external power or wiring to control your memory's lighting/colour.

These new Trident Z RGB kits of DDR4 memory are set to release in January 2017, with a dedicated software suite for colour customizations and controls coming in the following month. These new RGB memory fits will be available with memory speeds of up to 4266MHz, with a 10-layer PCB which is designed for overclocking.

Introducing the Trident Z RGB series - the world's most revolutionary RGB LED memory with a fully uncovered, full-length light bar.

Featuring a completely exposed light bar with vibrant RGB LEDs, merged with the award-winning Trident Z heatspreader designed, and constructed with the highest quality components, the Trident Z RGB DDR4 memory kit combines the most vivid RGB lighting with uncompromised performance.

This kit represents a huge leap forward for RGB illuminated memory kits, with dedicated software-based control system which completely negates the need for any additional cables or power connections, making systems tidier as well as making this kit easier to use.

G.Skill's Trident Z RGB kits will also come with a neutral black heatsink, allowing this kit top match almost any modern motherboard/system, unlike previous kits which had large red sections which ruined the kits RGB illumination.

These new Trident Z RGB series DDR4 memory kits are scheduled for a worldwide release via G.SKILL'authorised distribution partners in mid-January 2017, with software to be available for download the following month.

Depending on the level of control, I think some very subtle slow pulsing effects would look very good. Wish I new how they communicate to the memory seeing as there are no extra connectionsQuote
