Team Group launches new DDR5-8000 memory kits for Intel and AMD Ryzen PCs

Team Group expands its Elite and Elite PLUS DDR5 range with new DDR5-8000 kits

Team Group has officially released new JEDEC standard DDR5-8000 memory modules for its Elite and Elite PLUS product ranges. These modules can deliver 8000 MT/s speeds at 1.1V with CL56-56-56-128 timings, and support both AMD Ryzen and Intel Core Ultra systems.

These new memory modules aim to deliver high bandwidth with minimal power consumption. With JEDEC standard speeds, these modules also aim to deliver a broad level of platform compatibility

These new DDR5 memory modules are due to become available in June 2026. In North America, Team Group will release these modules through Amazon.

Team Group has showcased these modules working with AMD Ryzen and Intel Core Ultra PCs. The CPU was shown working with an AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D gaming CPU and an Intel Core Ultra 7 270K PLUS CPU at their rated speeds.

Note that these modules operate at JEDEC-rated speeds. This opens the door to faster non-JEDEC overclocking modules in the future. It is possible that future memory kits could use higher voltages to enable even higher speeds or tighter timings, boosting bandwidth and latency, respectively.

While faster DDR5 memory modules are coming to market, the ongoing global memory shortage will prevent these modules from being well-priced. Like all DRAM, these modules will be incredibly expensive. This situation won’t change until DRAM demand drops significantly or memory supply increases dramatically. While it is good to see faster DRAM become more common, it is a shame that today’s pricing makes this memory unaffordable for most consumers.
